Working for Affordable Long-Term Care

Having heard from countless families getting squeezed by the costs of long-term care, Steve Israel has a plan to ease the burden. His legislation calls for financial assistance to family caregivers with elder care obligations, long-term care planning assistance and improved national standards for long-term care insurance. Steve is also working for reduced drug costs, allowing for safe re-importation of drugs and expanding access to generic medicines.
