Everyone who works in New York City is affected by the expiration of commuter tax credits on New Year’s Eve. It means more cars on the road, more traffic and pollution and more travel weary workers.

Congress can – and should – fix this immediately! Reinstate the commuter tax credits TODAY, and make them retroactive. Otherwise, it’s the same as a $1000 tax on the commuters of Long Island.
